History

The Army Film & Photographic Unit Living History Group comprises Jeff Ball and Gary Hughes. As collectors of WW2 British militaria and active WW2 British living history enthusiasts, we often spent many hours looking through photographs whilst researching uniforms and equipment and in almost every case the pictures were not credited to the individual who had actually taken them. Therefore, building on Jeff's past as a professional photographer and my interest in photography we set out to redress the balance by raising the profile of the work of the AFPU camermen through living history events.
